Title: PHP requirements
Post by: mdlaat on December 27, 2015, 09:20:06 AM
Hi,

Can someone explain me what the PHP requirements are for roundcube. On the hompage it says "PHP Version 5.3.7 or greater", but on the wiki it says "PHP version 5.2.1 or greater"?

I have roundcube 1.0.2 running on php 5.3.3, and would like to know if I can install updates or not.

Thank you!
Maurice

Hey,

the minimum is 5.3.7 for roundcube. I use roundcube with php 5.6.16 and I have no problems. The latest requirements are available on http://trac.roundcube.net/wiki/Howto_Requirements

Not sure which wiki your referring to the minimum is 5.3.7 as pointed out by Dennis but I will add to that you need Roundcube 1.2 or grater to use PHP 7.

Thank you. I was referring to the wiki that Dennis posted, but I see that that page has been modified to reflect the apparantly current requirements.

Can you add this Information to the wiki, that PHP 7 requires rc 1.2?
Maybe it is a problem if somebody update php to Version 7 and use rc 1.1

I can't Change the wiki site, akismet says I'm a spam user... :o :'(
