Title: One smtp server-multiple domains> I read still confused>detailed instruction?
Post by: giggy on December 23, 2011, 08:11:33 PM
I have 6 domains in WAMP server: abc.com, bcd.com, etc.

I installed hMailserver with one SMTP relayer (google smtp).
I installed one roundcube 0.7 mail client under one of the domain names, abc.com.

In hMailserver,
I created an email user, "john," at the first domain, abc.com,
I created the same named email user, "john," at the second domain, bcd.com, etc.

Now after I login, whether or not I logged in at abc.com/mail, or bcd.com/mail, with the email user, john, I see the same inbox.
Another words, all the messages sent from any address are delivered into john@abc.com mailbox, whether or not I sent it to john@abc.com or john@bcd.com.

Could anyoen show me a step by step instructions how to configure roundcube to have distictive mail box for any user id for different domains in one SMTP server?

Thank you for your prompt reply in advance.

John

I suggest that you install RC on each domain separately with a separate SQL database.

John.

John is right.
That's what I did after searching around for hours.

John, my domain is being blocked by hotmail and a few other hosts.  I am not sending spam, it got compromised when I first set it up but has since been secured.  They still won't unblock it.

Does google allow you to relay?

Thanks.
