Title: Toggle button for HTML-text during viewing
Post by: ABerglund on September 20, 2010, 01:11:45 AM
Would like to see the addition of a toggle between HTML and text when viewing messages, such as squirrelmail has. This would greatly assist in dealing with poorly composed HTML messages.

It maybe best to have this as a plugin, but it is a good feature to add.

I think this should be a CORE feature. Please release a feature request @ Roundcube Webmail (http://trac.roundcube.net)

I also think it should be a core feature but it wouldn't get added until at lease version 0.5 witch will most likely not be out for 6+ months, so in the meantime it could be made as a plugin. There is a feature request open for it: #1486939 (Add ability to toggle between view as HTML and text while viewing a message) ? Roundcube Webmail (http://trac.roundcube.net/ticket/1486939)

Yes, I submitted the Feature Request on this a few weeks ago when I first realized that there wasn't such a toggle such as squirrlemail has. Wasn't sure if anyone else felt a need for it, so I thought I'd post it here as well.

I second that motion.  I think it would be a great feature to add.
