Title: Not able to send test mail

Hello,


Whenever i try to install roundcube on my new host, at the middle of the installation, when i test it by sending email. it doesnt work. I am trying with my Gmail ID

It doesnt seems so, i contacted my host Hostpaedia Team and they told to contact your email provider for settings.


Please help i am new to this all.

You mail provider would be Gmail not RoundCube, off the top of my head I think the Gmail SMTP is: tls://smtp.gmail.com:465

Sounds like a port issue.
I have the same OS and when I set up smtp on port 587 it doesn't send (I'm thinking that my router isn't setup, but can't be arsed looking), but when I change it to port 25 it sends no worries.

Can you try this way
