Title: junk mail is not deleted from the server when I delete it in my email
Post by: Claudy on July 17, 2017, 02:50:01 AM
Hi,

Can somebody help me? I already deleted all the messages in my junk folder in Outlook, but when I logged in to roundcube webmail, the junk folder is still full of emails. How can I set this to automatically sync? The other folders don't have problem. I set it up as POP3, leaving no copies to the server, but the Junks are still being saved in the server.

If you want the mail on the server to mirror whats on your client use IMAP not POP3.

Additionally, Outlook may need to be configured to use the same IMAP folder as Roundcube. This does not always happen automatically. Outlook may be store the Junk mail folder locally rather than on the server.
