Title: using an IMAP Proxy or caching IMAP connections - any ideas

I'm looking for a windows based alternative to imap-proxy at IMAPProxy.org (http://www.imapproxy.org)  - basically I would like to somehow cache the connections made to the imap server so thus for each and every transaction roundcubemail would not need to establish a new connection.

 Is there any way on how to accomplish this
