Title: Fileinfo/mime_content_type configuration: NOT OK
Post by: schwim on November 22, 2017, 12:52:25 PM
Hi there,

Forgive me for what very likely is something I should be able to decipher but my searching isn't resulting in anything useful.

I installed the release-complete from the website today and during final install, got this message:

Quote
Test filetype detection
Fileinfo/mime_content_type configuration:  NOT OK

Check the Fileinfo functions of your PHP installation.
The path to the magic.mime file can be set using the mime_magic config option in Roundcube.
Mimetype to file extension mapping:  OK

I'm able to use the install successfully and have not noticed any errors.  Do I need to do something about this and if so, what would it be?

Thanks for your time!

these functions are used to detect file types of attachments and things like that. have you done what it says and checked that your mime_magic config option is set correctly?
