Title: Uploading logo onto signature
Post by: roomtobreathe on October 16, 2012, 04:16:38 AM
Hi there

Have been trying to upload our logo onto the signature on email. But can't seem to do it! Please help with an easy way of doing this as we're not very technical! I've worked out how to add the signature and I added a url to the html link but it didn't take.

Is there a way of just uploading a jpeg?

Thanks very much
Fatima

Just upload the image on a web server and then use the link to the image in the signature.

Thanks very much for your help! Apparently we're on a shared server so we can't do this!! So annoying, wondering if there may be a way round it...?

You should be able to do this on a shared server just upload the image on your site and link to it from the signature.

The advice from Skaero works, but there is a downside. Most Email Clients (including Roundcube) will block external images by default. It inspires me for a new plugin to embed images into the message source. It is almost done.

You can use drag&drop to add image to the signature. In 0.9 such images are "converted" to attachments to make sure all email clients can display them correctly.

It would be great if the image is base64ed but I hate having every email come in with a attachment just because someone has a logo in there signature.
