Title: Local storage for IMAP folder
Post by: Gus on November 27, 2012, 09:05:44 AM
Sorry if this is a stupid question. However is it possible to use local webspace for an IMAP folder in my roundcube?

my email provider gives me a tiny 1Gb total mailbox with 50Gb webspace, and i'm forced to use GMAIL since i can have loads of IMAP folders for filing. I want to move away from gmail and use my own mailbox but 1Gb isnt enough.

Is there a way to utilize the local 50Gb webspace for an email folder or other type of storage in my Roundcube setup?

thanks

Have you contacted your provider to hear what they have to say? They might increase your mailbox size by few GBs. They tend to be cautious increasing mailbox size though because huge mailboxes could be stressing for the server hosting the service (specifically IMAP). A fair share is common in shared environments.
