Title: General blacklist for roundcube
Post by: diekerwe on December 05, 2012, 05:22:41 AM
Hello alll together!

I'm not sure if this is the right thread but I think it doesn't fit anywhere else. I already searched the web but I couldn't find the right answer for me.

I have a domain with roundcube installed, so there are several email-accounts to manage. Is there a possibility to use a general blacklist like using a general adressbook? I don't want my users get emails from specified adresses (phishing, etc.). If there'd be no plugin for my issue, I would also appreciate a solution to create a .html, .php., .txt file to disallow receiving emails from the specified adresses (although I'd prefer a plugin).

Many thanks in advance!

Best regards!

That isn't something that should be handled by RoundCube it should be done by the mail server.

Oh, yes, you're right. BUT: I have no permission to change any options of the mail server. What else can I do? I can't manage the blacklist of each user by myself... I need a general one.

Switch provider. That's an alternative. Spam filtering is taken care in the backend server like SKaero pointed out.
