Title: Links Section
Post by: thornate on April 04, 2013, 12:52:25 AM
I'm new to Roundcube and this forum, so I'm sorry if I'm asking something that's been asked before. I did search around and couldn't find an answer.

When I reply to an html email that contained URLs, Roundcube footnotes all of them and puts a section at the bottom of my reply that looks like the following:
Quote> Links:
> ------
> [1] http://google.com
> [2] http://yahoo.com
> [3] http://www.roundcubeforum.net

I find this annoying. How can I disable this action?

Switch to html emails.

Thanks.

Why does this even happen, though? Particularly as a default action with no option to disable it. I've never seen any other webmail interface listing URLs like that.

That is the correct way for links to be displayed for plan text emails, you most likely haven't seen it before since most mail client use html by default. You can switch the default in the settings.

Are you saying that I can switch the default to reply by using html, or to disable the link section whilst keeping it as raw text? If the latter, can you please tell me where that option is, because I haven't been able to find it.
