Title: [SOLVED] "sending email" message appear and then stuck (roundcube 0.9)
Post by: gde on May 01, 2013, 11:25:56 AM
Hello,

I've just upgraded from 0.8.6 to 0.9.0.
Most things are fine except one thing, I can send email, but the I have no information from roundcube that it has been sent. When I'm sending it, the "sending..." message appears and just stays for a while than stop.
Also I have no way to do anything (eg : going to preferences, mail, etc) I must retype the url address of my roundcube in order to go back to my mail

I'm not sure if its relevant but, when I send messages I find this message in the console : TypeError: parent.rcmail.iframe_loaded is not a function

I'm using 2 plugins : managesieve and carddav. Disabling all didn't change any thing.

I'm not sure what to do now.

Did you do an upgrade to 0.9 or is it a fresh install?

It's an upgrade.
I ran the installto.sh script, like said in the UPGRADE file

I would recommend replacing the programs/js folder with a fresh copy, I think its probably trying to run an old version of the js.

it worked! thanks !

I have little question though : I also noticed I'm missing some icone for "sending" and "save" while composing the email. I only have it with the "larry" skin and not classic.
I'm thinking the problem is the same. Would taking the whole "skin" directory be alright or should I think of some other place ?

Taking the whole skins directory would be fine as long as you haven't made any modifications to the skin.
