Title: Problem with some addresses...
Post by: TiteFleur on January 20, 2007, 07:27:33 PM
Hi,

First, excuse me for my bad English...

I have installed successfully Roundcube on my server, and it's fantastic...
I have two mail addresses and so, I've tested the sending and the reception of the mails between those addresses first, and there is a problem.
When I send a mail from an address @free.fr to an address @braymondval.net (this is my website and the mails & databases are hosted by databasefrance.net), I receive the mail but there is written "From Marion AgÃÃ,© , [email protected] "

If I send a mail from my address @free.fr to another address, there is no problem.
If I send a mail from my address @braymondval.net to another address, there is no problem either.

What's this bug ?
Thanks,
TiteFleur

I've solved my problem ...
It was caused by a special character in my name identity @free.fr ...
Yeah, I'm french... ;)

I have a similar problem. When I try to send mail to people with special characters in the domain (@lÃÃ,Â¥stad.net)I get an error and can't send. Is there any way to fix this? :)

Problem also when trying to log into roundcube with email with special character

Hope there is something to do with this because roundcubemail is really great :)
