Hi guys,
I apologize for the question, if itÃÂ,Ã,´s a dummy thing.
I'm using roundcube version SVN460.
When an user receives an attachment like TXT file and download it, everything is fine.
If an attachment has a different extension type, like TST for instance (text file not formated), the attachment can be downloaded but strangers caracters appears.
See wrong text that I get:

When the user submits the same message (and attachment) to another webmail reader like uebimiau or yahoo, itÃÂ,Ã,´s errors doesnÃÂ,Ã,´t occurs.
Does anybody have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance for any tips.

Had same problem was in the index.php. Download the latest.tar and replace the index.php worked great for me.
ThankÃÂ,Ã,´s jpweb...
I tried what you suggest in two ways...
First, only the index.php and then the whole SVN 463 (the latest at this time).
None works... :(
Hi fellows,
IÃÂ,Ã,´m crazy...
WhatÃÂ,Ã,´s wrong with text file attachments in roundcube?
I need a way to solve this, asap, please!
ThankÃÂ,Ã,´s
I am having the same problem - If I open an excel (xls) file in Thunderbird, it opens just fine. If I open it in Roundcube, it scrambles the text.
Sagentic,
I have tested with the stable version 0.1beta2 and the attachment is get ok.
In the same version, if I get a attachment like txt and instead of extension txt it is named tst for example, the text is scramble too.
All I want to know is:
Where I have to change in roundcube configs to not treat TXT (and similiar types) as Mime type.
I hope somebody can help us and please, post here ;)
