Title: Calendar plugin
Post by: makgab on December 20, 2013, 05:40:47 AM
Hi!

Which calendar plugin can I use for roundcubemail?
Environment: CentOS 6.5, roundcubemail-0.9.5-1.el6.noarch (rpm).

The kolab plugin cannot work: http://docs.kolab.org/installation-guide/centos.html
Because of rpm package conflict. :(

Is there any Calendar plugin with installation instruction for RC?

G.

If you want a calendar plugin as a CentOS package then no. Why don't you install the plugin manually?

You could install the Kolab plugin manually, just download it from git http://git.kolab.org/roundcubemail-plugins-kolab/tree/plugins/calendar and setup the database and activate the plugin.

Ok, I am a total noob at this stuff. I did a fresh install of RC to my Cpanel, that is working great, I am now trying to install a calendar, I downloaded Kolab master pack, http://git.kolab.org/roundcubemail-plugins-kolab/commit/ (http://git.kolab.org/roundcubemail-plugins-kolab/commit/), unzipped it, uploaded the calendar folder to my plugins folder, (I have myroundcube plugin manager installed correctly) now what? I see absolutely no place to activate the calendar plugin. I tried to add it to the array in the main.inc.php file, and get an error, (cannot register a plugin designed to be managed by plugin manager). So I took out plugin manager, and put in calendar, no joy...back to the plugin manager and can't find anything about calendar in there. do i need the plugin manager? please help!! and thank you !

The plugin manger is not needed for the Kolab calendar and it may cause problems. What is the error you get when you register the plugin?

I downloaded this: http://git.kolab.org/roundcubemail-plugins-kolab/
because it requires the libcalendaring.
But it has problem in log:
"Error loading template for calendar.calendar in /usr/share/roundcubemail/program/include/rcmail_output_html.php on line 489"

What is that?
Unusable any calendar plugin...? :(
