Hi everyone,
Forgive me, but I am new to Roundcube. I currently have an email address with Roundcube. I have over 40 folders inside all containing email as well as new and existing email in my inbox.
I would like to see if there is an easy way to:
1) Backup all my email and folders ONLY.
2) I am moving to a new host, GODADDY.
3) I'd like to bring ALL OF MY FOLDERS, THE EMAILS INSIDE OF THOSE FOLDERS, and existing current emails inside of my inbox.
I know how to change MX records and ready to do that along with DNS.
But I DON'T WANT TO LOSE MY FOLDERS, THE EMAILS INSIDE OF THEM, as well as my current inbox emails.
I have cpanel with this Roundcube and was curious and pray out there if anyone can help me in a step-by-step response without being too technical how I can do this. I appreciate any and all help. Happy New Year too to everyone, and thank you so much!
Roundcube is an email client, the mail and folders do not live in Roundcube, they live on the IMAP mail server that Roundcube is set to connect to.
As such, Roundcube has absolutely nothing to do with a mail migration. The messages and folders need to be moved from the current IMAP server to the new one. This can not be done with an email client. You should contact you current future hosting providers to see what migration tools they offer.
you ROCK.
Thank you...
