Print Page - Spell Check doesn't work on my install

I have installed Roundcube and it is working great, apart from the spell check! :'( When pressed it looks as if it is about to work, but then

Spell check is set to TRUE, and my PHP.ini is set up to use
extension=php_sockets.dll
and
extension=php_openssl.dll

What else can I try to get the spell checker working ?
