Title: emails that contain urls or website links
Post by: jfiebig on February 23, 2014, 03:07:09 PM
When I use my roundcube email and copy and paste a website link, it does not automatically link or is hi-lighted when the reader receives it. It used to work until recently and now I have to press the link button and insert the url. Can someone let me know how to fix this?

Thank you

If you compose in HTML, you must use the link button. But I believe that in plain text messages, the links work as typed. I don't think this is directly attributable to Rouncube, it has more to do with the receiving client. In a text message, the client is free to find and convert the links for you. But in HTML the link must be properly coded at the source.

Thank you for this information. I used to be able to use html and have it work without clicking the link button. I also have a signature where the website is linked so I have to remain with the html format. Not sure why all of a sudden it does not work.
