Title: EMail Certificate
Post by: romansvillage on July 04, 2007, 03:48:07 AM
Is it planned to improve the handling of email certificates?
Whenever I receive an email signed with a certificate I see it attached as "smime.p7s" and can't see whether it's valid or not.
It would also be helpful if I could sign outgoing mails with a certificate.

I support the request for support of SSL certificates for encryption and digital signatures, alternatively (and a lower priority in my book) would be PGP.

We'd have a fraction of the junk mail problems if people came to their senses and started digitally signing outgoing messages. A new and modern and forward-looking mail tool such as Round Cube should support signing, preferably also encrypting.

I like to second this. Signed mails would be nice.
