Title: IIS authentication problem
Post by: Sune on July 17, 2007, 05:31:43 PM
Hi,

I have installed the latest version of Roundcube on an IIS6 platform with PHP 5.2.3 and MySQL 5.0.45. I have checked that PHP and the database is working as it should be.

When I try to access roundcube I am being propmted for username/password by the browser (not a roundcube log in page) and get the "You are not authorized to view this page".

I have tried removing the .htaccess files, it didn't help though. Anyone has any idea of what the reason can be?
Thanks!

.htaccess files don't do anything to IIS.
You need to change the file\folder permissions using the normal Windows security (oxymoron) mechanism. r-click->"sharing and security".
