I don't get it, I followed the instructions exactly and doesn't appear to be working. Are we suppose to manually update the database ? I was under the impression that we only needed to go to the /installer/ url and click 3. test config and it would merge the old main.inc file with the new config. Or are we suppose to click the create config link and reinstall ?
It appears the only way to do is to manually copy the info from the old files to the new config and change the rc_config to config. The upgrade instruction did not say anything about that. I clicked the test link and now shows to update db from (from what?) old version, I don't remember which one, 9 something. It sure would be nice if they dummied down the upgrade instructions so people like me don't accidentally do something that wipes out the old database. The upgrade should be automatic and flawless. The install file left out critical items I think.
