Title: [SOLVED] Gap in quick search results with 1.0.1
Post by: faf2019e on June 30, 2014, 10:15:17 AM
Hi,

I'm experiencing a strange bug in quick search with 1.0.1 (also tested with 0.7.2)

I have a big gap in the results with RoundCube 1.0.1 but not with Thunderbird.

As you can see in the attached screenshot, i have a big gap in the results between january and now in RC search results.
And it only occures on the Trash folder...

I have 18000 mails in Trash folder and search is very quick. I use an IMAP server.

Any idea ?

Stéphane.

Edit:
This was a problem on the IMAP server search index with Solr/Dovecot.

Hi Stephane,

I am having similar problems like you. How did you solve it?

Appreciate if you could advise!

Thanks
Kevin

Hi Kevin,

The problem was located on the IMAP Server hosted by a provider.
The provider reported me that it was an indexation error with Solr/Dovecot.
So, he only had to reindex my mailbox and the problem was solved.
But i don't know the exact procedure.

Stéphane.

Dear Stéphane,

How is your performance of your roundcube? As in when you search your mailbox, how long does it to get a reply?

For me at the moment it is taking up to 1 to 2 mins to get a search result(20,000 mails in my inbox) .

Appreciate your feedback,
Thanks
Kevin

Very quick for me, about 1 or 2 seconds.
In my case, that was not a performance problem.

Stéphane.
