Title: show pictures by default
Post by: eke on September 03, 2007, 09:38:09 PM
Hi.

I know, showing pictures in mails could cause trouble and SPAM to me. But i like html mails and i like to see the pictures in my mails. So is there a way to show the pictures in mails by default and not always first to confirm that while opening a mail ?

any help is highly appreciated
eke ;)

Not really no. This is the way all apps work. It's a safe-guard. If you really wanted this, you'd have to "hack" the code to show it by default.

For the record, the way most mail readers handle this (including Thunderbird and Outlook, I believe) is to make it so that you can add a sender to your address book, and if they are in your address book then the images will display by default. If not, then they will not.

Just a thought..
