Title: Roundcube what to choose Plesk or cPanel
Post by: AlexP on July 09, 2014, 05:12:46 PM
Hi all

Please advice what to choose cpanel or plesk? I willing to install roundcube as a public webmail free to register for our site members.

Would I expect to have any difficulty using plesk as my preferred one or is better to go with cpanel ?

You can easily run Roundcube on either setup, but please keep in mind that Roundcube doesn't include a registration script.

Thank you for reply.

Yes, the right question should be:  what is the  best control panel for a such plugins as change password or forgot password  reminder.. ?
I cannot configure it on plesk, does it will be less hassle with cPanel ?

Thanks

I don't know about the other plugins but there is a cpanel driver for the password plugin. If I remember correctly there was a way to change the password with Plesk but you'd have to search the forum to find that discussion.
