I currently use roundcube in conjunction with Google Apps for Business, I enforce 2-factor authentication across my domain and because of this the only way to log into roundcube is by specifying an application specific password each time I log in i.e. impossible to remember.
Is there anyway to have a local password stored in the database that then corresponds to a seperate imap password?
You could code a plugin to do that but I don't think there is one currently that would work.
