Title: Blackberry Phone
Post by: SuzBlr on May 08, 2015, 08:41:09 AM
My boss has sent and received emails on his blackberry phone for several months. Last week he got a new blackberry. It will only send emails to people with a roundcube address. It will not send it to hotmail, aol, etc.. How can I get his new blackberry to work correctly with roundcube email?

Not a Roundcube issue. Roundcube is simply a web-based email client. You will need to configure the phone based on the requirements of the back-end mail server, not Roundcube. Contact your email provider for more info on how to connect to the back-end server.

That is no help. We are going through websitebox and they told us we couldn't use roundcube with a blackberry.
This was their reply:
I just received word back from our team and they told me that 100% we cannot set up the e-mail on blackberry at all. Blackberry phones enables encryption by default and unfortunately, it is something that our e-mail does not support at the moment.

I'm not an expert on how Blackberry's are setup but sounds like you need a different email host to support it.
