Title: Rules on folder, easy but
Post by: davi2d on May 12, 2015, 08:22:27 AM
Hi everyone,

I use roundcube on a nas synology to manage my email.
I added an external pop email account, to retrieve all my gmail messages.
I  set up a rule to download all in G folder.
It's ok . It works.
But now, i'd like to sort them, with date.
In the settings, I created a rule, specified that if the mail was received in 2014 year, it goes to 2014 subfolder, and so for 2013 2012 2011 ......
>> name : 2013 , date, year, = ,  2013 ==> move to '2013'

But nothing happen. I think i'm wrong.
I was wondering if you had any idea to help me.

Plus : is there a way to delete all my contact and group (i made a wrong import)

i have never used synology but normally mail rules are not automatically applied retroactivly, they only work on incoming mail.

No, but in import form you have an option to replace the entire addressbook. So, you can import empty file (or if that does not work, with only one contact) or just a proper contacts import.
