If you login with IE6 (tested 6.0.29.00 xp sp2), select a message and then hit the DELETE key,
roundcube will do weird things:
- On one machine, after hitting DEL key, the selected message was properly deleted, but after some
time (around 30 seconds), the program will start deleting all the messages in loop, like DEL is pressed forever
- On the second machine, after hitting DEL key, the selected message was deleted, but after only 1-2 seconds
other messages were deleted too (sometimes 5, sometimes more)
If it's a IE6 issue, then delete key must be disabled via JS when using this browser.
Please confirm it and provider a patch or a workaround to disable the DEL key
Thanks,
Roberto Sebastiano
Hi,
i got the same Problem with Firefox 2.0.0.9
greets,
Doc.
Dear Roberto, Doc, team, all other users,
Any news on this topic? This is a VERY SERIOUS situation, I have users, ordinary webmail users complaining about e-mail loss! If wasnt for my backup system I would have missed important stuff.
I understand roundcube is a project under development, open source, and FREE. I am really grateful to the Roundcube team and I use the software for more than a year now. I think already is the best open source webmail client out there!
But people, this problem is SERIOUS, it is not about an "attacment" that does not open. It is about your messages starting to get literally EATEN and throwed to the trashcan, then appearing and disapearing.
Note: I was not experiencing this problem until I decided to move to RC2.
Note: I mainly use IE7 and Firefox here.
Please, if it is not possible to fix right now, at LEAST TEACH how to disable the DELETE KEY. P L E A S E.
Best Regards,
