Title: Always 1 message unread.
Post by: Oogappel on March 03, 2008, 05:41:08 PM
Hi there. First of all, great software. Use it as my online client at the moment.

But there's this thing; There's always 1 message unread in my inbox according to the status in the folder bar.
There's a trick to get rid of it; select the first email from the list and its gone.

Does one now if there is a real solution for this?

thanks in advance.

Version: 0.1
Browser: Firefox 1.5

I'm having the same problem running the latest stable release. My host is Dreamhost... don't know if that matters. Really annoying... I also have a problem with messages that are in preview persisting when I drag them to the Trash folder... I have to forcibly click on other emails to change the preview.

Seems to be some kind of caching or latency problem with RoundCube, but I don't have any idea where to look for the solution.

Is caching enabled?

So basically, you are saying the message stays there, even though it's deleted?
Can you confirm e.g. with Thunderbird that it's been moved to the trash?

I disabled caching and then also found some post-dated emails in my case, so I can't be sure exactly what the source was. In general it seems like the caching component has some issues, but I'm not sure. Either way my problem is solved.

Thanks,
Rick
