I think we need more fields for contacts in the address book. I am in the habit of keeping phone numbers in my address book. ;)

Yes, I agree.

The thing that I would like to see are multiple email addresses for one contact. That would be awesome!

You guys can simply apply the "Advanced AddressBook" plugin:

I personnally modified this plugin in order to transform the label "firm" in to a second email address and the organization label into website...

I have therefore 2 email address per contact which can be both detecting when creating a new email..
