Title: New website on same domain
Post by: mre on September 25, 2019, 04:49:17 AM
Hi guys,

Im totally new here.
I have a question, a while ago our website developer made a Woocommerce website for us and a matching email adres at roundcube.
Now we wanted to change our web developer, but he refuses to work with us and transfer the roundcube email to the new website.

We already put the new website on the domain, but the domain.com/webmail doesn't work anymore.
We get a notification at sayts that our IMAP unavailable IMAP.
-  Is there a possibility to fix this without the help of the old webdeveloper?
- Is it possible to completely transfer the email to our own account so the old web developer cant see into our email?

Sorry for my bad explanation, but im not really experienced with these kind of problems.

Kind regards

Roundcube is a web client for your email. It does not store any of your email. The emails are all on your IMAP server. It is possible to transfer emails between IMAP servers (check your new IMAP server documentation for info on that) but to do it you will need access to the old server.
