I've an issue which I don't know how to solve. I've tried various searches in the forum to answer my question without success.
Anyway, I'm using roundcube webmail via cpanel 86.0.21, provided by Namecheap.
I get loads of PDF invoices which I need to print. When I click on the PDF attachment, some of the files open in a separate window so I can print straightaway, while the others will download, which means I need to open the download, print, extra dialogs etc etc. I know a few extra steps isn't a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but if I can fix it, then I want to fix it. I really do print lots of these invoices and the process is laborious enough.
When I expand the attachment menu, I get two option on some - open & download, and on others, I just have the download option.
I really don't know what the craic is with these, perhaps some kind of mime issue.
Has anyone encountered this behaviour, and is it something I can defeat?

Doesn't seem like a solution is available my side, but this was posted quite a few years back. Perhaps someone knows of a workaround?
Problem is with the attachment content-type. https://github.com/roundcube/roundcubemail/issues/6821
No workaround other that changing the code.
