Title: Installer Ignores Many Settings, Doesn't Produce Values in Config File
Post by: djdave238 on December 09, 2022, 07:12:50 PM
I'm setting up a clean installation of Roundcube 1.6.0 Complete, and the installer totally ignores SMTP fields, user defaults fields, and general config fields... maybe others as well.  Seems only the Plugins options were committed, nothing else. Rerunning the config creator doesn't do anything.  I've verified read/write access, and no errors are produced saying that config isn't writable. The installer also strips items that I place in the config file manually.

Using PHP 7.4 / IIS 10

That's a known issue that will be fixed in the next release.

Good to know.  Although.... I notice 1.6.0 was released end of July.  This seems like a pretty serious issue to leave in the wild for 4½ months, without a hotfix or bugfix... just my two cents. But I'm not terribly familiar with the release schedule....

@alec

Thanks for your answer.

But are there go arronds to install roundcubemail-1.6.0 at this moment.

Or can't roundcubemail-1.6.0 be installed until the next version ist released?

When will the fix be released?

Thanks for your help
