Title: "Global Address Book” feature
Post by: john_do on November 29, 2024, 04:24:52 AM
I would like to use a shared address book in RoundCube.
Ideally, the administrator (or a few people) would be able to add specific contacts to many users' address books.

One way to accomplish this would be to use the "Global Address Book" plugin.

My question is this: if I create a new account after creating a shared address book using Global Address Book, do I need to do any additional work to load that address book into that account?
It is reflected when the account is created, and there is no operation by the administrator or user ?

Also, please let me know if there is a website other than the official page that explains this.

We would appreciate your response.

The plugin has a `visibility` which supports setting a specific list of users who can see the Global Address Book but by default it will be visible to all users including new ones.
