Hello,
I have an odd issue. before I posted about the images not showing up in the browser when I tried calling round cube. I've notice something odd. I have set up a sub-domain mail.domain.com to point to domain.com/mail where round cube is installed. however, when I call mail.domain.com the images do not show but when I call domain.com/mail they do appear. I'm not sure why they are not appearing when the sub-domain is called.
any insight would be great
sounds like you may have a problem in the way mail.domain.com points to domain.com/mail. check what url RC is attempting to load the images from and see if its valid.
This is really a logical bug that needs to be addressed to the developer. The current build does not support subdomain addressing in which is why you don't see the images. Round Cube uses a java script to provide image path. I don't know java scripting. So I can't provide a fix to the problem. Looks like its in the common.js file under the function rcube_find_object.
could you give us some examples of when it goes wrong and when it goes right please? perhaps some one else can figure out what is wrong.
#1485845 (Login fails when running it on a subdomain ...) ? RoundCube Webmail (http://trac.roundcube.net/ticket/1485845)
May be it's related to my problem ...
Hi guy's, I experience exactly the same problem. I created a sub domain on ISPConfig mail.mydomain.co.za and forwarded to https://mydomain.co.za/:81/roundcubemail/index.php/. The user login is working perfect but the page is loading forever due to the pics. Is there any solution so-far or is there any info I can provide solving this problem.
Thanks in advance.
