I recently upgraded from version 0.2-alpha to 0.2-beta
I have noticed that roundcube doesn't always *notice* unread messages in non-inbox folders. A few folders with unread messages will appear as expected:
Foldername(4), other folders with unread messages will appear as if they were all read.
