Title: Mail Service
Post by: mailPerson on October 11, 2008, 08:34:35 AM
I am starting an email service where my users can get free email accounts. I don't want to build an entire interface for email. I like the RoundCube Interface. I have 2 questions. Is it possible to make a login on an external page (with or without coding modifying)? Also, can I put adds in the emails (with or without code modifying)

Since, there would be advertisements, I would be getting a profit. Am I allowed to use RoundCube if it is used to make a profit?

Thanks for reading!

Question #1:
http://www.roundcubeforum.net/general-discussion/2906-integrate-rc-login-form-box-within-my-homepage-static-html-website-3.html#post14574

Question #2:
you have to modify files in ./skins/templates. also you will have to adjust the style sheets (css files).

Roundcube is released under GPL. Commercial use is permitted.

Are you sure? Looking at the license is says:

Quotec) Accompany it with the information you received as to the offer
to distribute corresponding source code.  (This alternative is
allowed only for noncommercial distribution and only if you
received the program in object code or executable form with such
an offer, in accord with Subsection b above.)
