Whenever I hit "Check for new messages" some message headers are duplicating themselves.
It's always the ones at the top, sometimes 1 but up to 10-15 can get duplicated. Each time you hit the button, more are added.

In short, no.
It's definitely a bug somewhere rather than a "setting", but waiting for the RoundCube development team to get around to looking at the issue.

Please check v0.3rc1. I think the issue was solved meanwhile by modifications in check_recent.inc.
tried .3 rc1, this is still happening... it happens in every folder except the main inbox... all sorts of mails start cloning themselves, and you loose your place, its very frustrating... this happens just sitting there, you dont have to click check for mail

Just as a follow up - i just installed the nightly build and this problem still exists.
Any workaround possible? It's solved as soon as i hit F5 (refresh entire window) or if i click the inbox. So it appears to be a sync issue somewhere?
