Title: Ampersand in folder name wreaks havoc
Post by: kalyson on April 23, 2009, 06:41:16 PM
Actually,  version is 0.2-stable, but that was not a choice in this dropdown.

When user creates folder name containing an &, the name does not show up and Roundcube reports "Unknown Server Error!"  when it is accessed.  In fact, the "Unknown Server Error!" occurs when the user first logs in to their account.  Also, the folder cannot be deleted from within Roundcube..

The behavior is different with different browsers, IE being the worst -- at times even blocking the listing of the contents of any folder.

The ampersand in HTML indicates a special character. I don't think the RC software identifies this when it creates a folder list.
