Title: Mail filter
Post by: gichael3257 on August 30, 2006, 07:37:25 AM
Hi

I suggest making it possible to make a filter in roundcube.. exable. all mails that has ***SPAM*** in subj, is moved to folder Spam.
It would be more great if u could make a general filter for all users.

Regards Michael

Definately. Mail filters I think are one of the "Must haves"

yeah, if I was able to setup a filter to filter out my tagged spam, I would use roundcube exclusivly!

It would be nice to be able to filter by:

TO:
FROM:
Subject:
User defined Header value

I would happily replace my existing webmail app, If I could do this !! :D

There are some patches currently being tested that are supposed to add filtering. (Check the archives of the development mailing list)

Everyone agrees that it is a "must-have" feature, but in order for it to be properly implemented, RoundCube needs a plugin system first.

Thanks.
I've had a read back and can see some work is on going !

Without being able to have emails move to specific folders I won't be able to use RC... Which is a shame as it is very nice. (the nicest I've found so far !!)

I'll keep coming back and see what changes.

Thanks

The mail filter system is such an important necessity. Do we know if Roundcube are currently looking at including it in any of their future upgrades?

RoundCube doesn't do filtering the mail server needs to filter the emails, there are some plugins that work with different mail server to setup filtering. Plugin_Repository ? Roundcube Webmail (http://trac.roundcube.net/wiki/Plugin_Repository)
