Title: attachment upload error
Post by: Haka on July 15, 2009, 04:22:27 AM
Hi,

First thx, this webmail^^

So I use rcube about 2 years ago.
I try the latest release, and I found a bug in it too.

The file uploading is not working good for me (in ver 2.2,2.1,2.0, ... , 0.1) if i want upload files with "special" names: "Autóhasználat.xls" or "proba level.xls".

If i want upload a file with "normal" name, that is ok: "probalevel.xls".

So i cant upload files if this caharacters are in names: " " (space) "íűáéúőóüöÍŰÁÉÚŐÓÜÖ". This is very important in my language (hungarian) :S

thx
sorry for my english

So, i tried search the error... :)

The attachment upload is good, the file is in "/temp" after upload, but when I click "Send". I have a error message, becouse the compose id is missed.
Error message ["An internal error..."].

And if I get a new mail from outside with a attachment with "special" characters, then the attachment name is in wrong charset: "Webterv vĂ©gleges". "Ă©" = é. We use ussually utf-8 in hungarian.

Sorry for my english :)

Sometime, I got the same problem.
I mean:
Attachment is uploaded successfull. But when i open the "SentBox", I can not see the attachment. Although, the size of mail include attachment's size.

Your best bet is to upgrade to the latest stable version, which is 0.3.1 as it is likely to contain fixes for any issues that you are experiencing.
