Title: Step 3?
Post by: mrme on August 12, 2009, 10:39:29 AM
I have searched, so if i missed it, please have mercy....

I am working on installing round cube on CentOS 5 with mysql.  I have created the db's and user's etc, filled out the form in step 2, and inserted my configs into the config dir, click continue and step 3 is blank.

If i browse to //www.thedomain.com/mail/ its blank.  there is no tables in the db's.  The logs folder is empty.  Kinda stuck here.

Any idea's??

Thanks for the help!!!

[rc root]/logs/ is empty.

I check to ensure that i have debugging in mail.inc.php set to 1

I also checked to ensure that i apache has access to logs and temp

I have tried it with firefox and iexplorer

php version 5.2.6
rc version   0.2.2
apache ver 2.2.8
mysql ver   5.0.58
centOS ver 5.3

phpinfo() located at phpinfo() (http://www.circleofbrains.com/index.php)

Removed the .htaccess, no luck.

If i change the url from *step=3 to *step=2, still blank, even if i go back to the root of the install dir, blank page.

Its got me baffled!!

I would really like to use this script!!!!!

Thanks for your help!

if step 2 used to work and the only thing you did between 2 and 3 was make the config files then thats probably where your problem lies, try takeing them out and see if step 2 works again, then if it does you just need to go through them and find the problem.

Well, i removed the files, and went back to step 2 and redid them.  Same thing.

I remove rc completely and started fresh.  On step 2, i nanoed them in to the config dir via ssh, and same thing.  I removed the files, and then downloaded them via step 2, and then uploaded them via ssh, and it works.

I have no idea, but thanks for your help!

Just a hunch here, as I've seen other similar symptoms on other web apps. Is SELinux in Enforcing mode?

Can you post your main.inc.php config file? I ran into the same problem and it was a issue with how the installer had created the the config files.

I have fixed the problem.
I'm not sure what the fix was but now i have configured everything on the config page and then went to page 3.
After that it looks fine.
