Title: Sent Items Columns in Message List
Post by: SabreWolfy on October 26, 2009, 12:27:07 PM
Hi,
I have RoundCube setup to talk to DoveCot IMAP. I use "SentItems" as my sent items folder. RoundCube shows "Sent" as well, which is fine. I changed the "Special Folder" sent to "SentItems", but then for some reason I had two "Sent" and no "SentItems". So I don't want to change the name of the folder or the special folders settings.
If I place a message in "Sent" and go to the folder, there is a column to see who the message is sent *TO*. How do I do the same thing for my "SentItems" folder? If I go there I see who it was sent *FROM* like a normal folder, but I want to flag "SentItems" folder as containing SENT messages.
Apart from this, I'm really enjoying using RoundCube.
Thanks.

What you can do is modify the label in the localization file in ./program/localization/

Hi,
I've changed special folder sent to "SentItems" and I've edited all other locations of Sent to SentItems in config/main and in location files. When I view FOLDERS under Settings, I see only SentItems. However, the folder tree on the left of the message list still shows Sent at the bottom with a blue icon. How can I remove it? Sent does not appear on the list of folders under Settings.
Edit: I gave up and just changed everything back to "Sent" and renamed my .SentItems to .Sent.
Edit: Now RC keeps showing "SentItems" on the tree list to the left of the message list! There is no such folder anymore! The only way I could remove it was to create am empty .SentItems folder and then unsubscribe from the folder under Settings and then remove the (empty) .SentItems mail folder on disk.
Edit: Reversed the entire process and I now at least have my "SentItems" as my sent items folder without any extra "Sent" folders. Happy at last! :)
