Title: Can't login. No "Forgot Password?" Button
Post by: [email protected] on January 13, 2010, 06:25:31 AM
trying to figure out why I can't log in to my email (same as my username). I type the username in followed by my password and it says "Login Failed."

I have my roundcube email address running through "Mail" on my mac so could that be the reason why it doesn't work?

How should I resolve this?

are there any errors in your rc error log ([rc root]/logs/errors) or in your imap server logs?

being logged in with another client at the same time will not affect the login in rc

ok i'll try. first just incase i am jumping the gun here, if you are an end user and not actually running your own roundcube install then you need to contact who ever it is that runs your email, no one here can help. if you are running your own install of roundcube then you need to look in the log file of roundcube and possibly those of your imap server too then you can see why the login failed. then if you dont know how to fix it you can post the log entries here (if its a roundcube error) and may be some one can help you. The error log for roundcube is in [rc root]/logs/errors. I cant help you locate your imap server ones but if you dont know they try looking in the imap server config file.
