first let me say, that i really LOVE RC :D
I think it would be very nice if the RC address book can use an imap folder with vcard entries as its storage place. like thunderbird can this with the sync kolab extension or KMail/Kontact.
just an idea...

I would like to add my weight to this request.
I have just discovered the Kolab extension for Thunderbird and it's great for syncing my address book across different machines running TB.
The perfect addition to this would be if Roundcube could also support vcards in an IMAP folder, as I use RC when I am out and about.

YES - several of my users use KMail on linux, and thunderbird on windows... IMAP resource support would make me look like a god :D

i suspect one could in theory use another folder for iCalendar messages (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ICalendar)
no, really, this is a superbly wonderful idea. i've never seen any webmail app to do this without proprietary server side message storage.
