Title: new_user_dialog behavior
Post by: timtraver on June 02, 2010, 08:22:10 PM
Hi all,

ok, I use the new_user_dialog plugin in order to force the end user upon the first login to create their identity.

I am now using version 0.4 beta and the new_user_dialog has a wierd field behavior, and I cannot remember if it did this before in the older versions.

In the dialog window that pops up, the "_name" field allows you to type in the Identity name for your address. The strange thing is that it does not allow you to use spaces, or the backspace button in that field.

I've tried it on Firefox 3.6 and IE 8, and the behavior is the same. I looked at the html code and it doesn't seem like there would be anything that prevents it from having spaces in it, but I thought maybe its a higher stylesheet attribute or something?

I thought I would ask the list to see if anyone could help resolve it, because it is kind of a weird user experience with that plugin.

Thanks,

Tim

svn version of the plugin doesn't work with 0.4.2.
