Title: MAPI like functionality?
Post by: angelochen960 on June 03, 2010, 02:26:25 AM
Hi,

I'm switching from Outlook Express to Roundcube, one thing I'd like to do is, I can prepare a message with file attachments in an home made application and send the message to RoundCube as a draft, then I can switch to roundcube to put in the email address and send it out. What I'm doing now in Windows is, define Outlook Express as MAPI client.

Any hints on how to do this in roundcube? Thanks,

Angelo

Well MAPI stands for Messaging Application Programming Interface. Roundcube itself has no such capability. If you want your application to send a message, the application itself needs to communicate directly with the SMTP-server.
