Title: Configuring Roundcube for Membership site
Post by: Sheba on June 14, 2010, 07:28:30 PM
Hello everyone,

I have a codeigniter membership site and need to automate email account setup for user when they sign up for membership.  I did not find the information needed in the cpanel.net developer configuration site and is hoping someone here can direct as to how to access roundcube's database and configuration files and what I should do to make it seamless in creating email user accounts for each member.

Thanks for your attention.

Sheba

You would need to create the accounts on CPanel not RoundCube.

Thanks for your response.

Yes, we manually created accounts in roundcube and want to know if there is a plugin to use to automatically create the email accounts in roundcube when the member signs up for subscription.

Then you would have to intergrate cpanel into your membership site, roundcube is just a client. If you can register e-mail account through roundcube, then there could be some sort of "potential security issues" ... lol
