So I'm cruising along thinking that I can easily update my RoundCube from 0.3.1 to 0.4beta when I run into this:
QuotePlease manually execute the SQL statements from /home/httpd/vhosts/crestonecreations.com/subdomains/rcube/httpdocs/SQL/mysql.update.sql on your database.
See comments in the file and execute queries that are superscribed with the currently installed version number.
I have found the mysql.update.sql file but am not at all familiar with mySQL - other than I know how to get to the phpMyAdmin - and so I don't have any clue what to do from here.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.
1. login to phpMyAdmin
2. chose RC database and enter SQL tab
3. copy everything from the update-script
4. paste to phpMyAdmin SQL tab and submit it
5. thats all
Thank you very much for this help!
Glad to learn more about phpMyAdmin.
I have done this successfully and happy days now.
All the best - and thanks again.
I'm having much the same problem, but I have already run the update scripts against my 0.3.1 RoundCube installation, and am STILL being told that the schema is invalid.
I'm about ready to drop all the tables and re-create them... but i'd rather find the problem.
Has anyone else experienced this (moving from 0.3.1 beta to 0.4 beta)

Ok..
So I dropped the tables, recreated them from scratch using the "mysql.initial.sql" file, and ...
It still doesn't work, and I still get the message:
DB Schema: NOT OK(Database schema differs)
Please manually execute the SQL statements from /var/www/rc-beta/SQL/mysql.update.sql on your database.
See comments in the file and execute queries that are superscribed with the currently installed version number.
So something's really not right here, and I really need to get this back up and running.
Any help / thoughts?
