Umm...

1. Select the Trash folder
2. Click "Empty"

But, the Empty button is not active for any folder...

after i select the trash folder, the button empty not activate... only button "compact".

For any folder the empty button not found.

I assume you actually have trash in your trash folder. If the trash folder is empty, then the Empty button is not available.
